Our Weather & Wind Policy
Kitesurfing is wind-dependent — that’s why we’ve developed a system at our school in Malcesine to give you maximum booking security:
🌬️ Highly wind-reliable spot
On Lake Garda, there are typically two thermal wind windows per day — one in the morning and one in the afternoon. This gives you two chances per day for good conditions.
Thanks to our central location in Malcesine, we can either start directly in front of the school or move flexibly north or south depending on wind direction.
📆 One session per day – two wind chances
You are booked for one session per day, even though there is often the possibility of two. This keeps your schedule flexible in case a session needs to be rescheduled.
🔁 Easy rescheduling
Staying longer at Lake Garda? Perfect — if a day is cancelled, we simply move your session to the next available day.
🚤 Alternative activities
If you prefer, you can swap your kitesurf session for wakeboarding or foiling — or join a relaxed boat trip on Lake Garda, for example from Malcesine to Limone for ice cream or cliff jumping in Campione (subject to availability).
🎟️ Credit option
If rescheduling is not possible and you don’t want an alternative activity, you’ll receive a credit valid for 2 years. It can be used at our kite school in Malcesine or at one of our international kite camps.
